UWE Coffeemat Challenge Terms & Conditions

1. The UWE Coffeemat Challenge competition is run by University of the West of England and operated by Evans & Finch Ltd.

2. The is open to entries from students, staff and alumni from University of the West of England, excluding winners from previous competitions.

3. Ideas may only be submitted for entry into the Competition via the official UWE Coffeemat Challenge website.

4. Only one prize will be awarded per participant, if the same participant wins multiple heats the second place participant will be awarded the prize.

5. University of the West of England reserves the right to discard any ideas that are obscene, defamatory or in any way contravene any law and University of the West of England's decision on this shall be final.

6. Prizes will be awarded to entrants who have submitted ideas that attract the most points during the competition. Points are awarded to ideas for a combination of votes and fans. For full details of the scoring mechanism, please see the Coffeemat Challenge official Blog.

7. University of the West of England reserves the right to change the closing date of the competition.

8. Votes may only be submitted on the UWE Coffeemat Challenge website and are valid only for the heat during which they were cast. Voting patterns will be monitored and if irregularities are found, related ideas will be deemed ineligible. University of the West of England decision on this shall be final.

9. No responsibility will be accepted for technical issues resulting in entries or votes not being received.

10. A list of winners will be displayed on the winners page.

11. The winner will be informed by email within 7 days and prizes will be dispatched within 28 days of the closing date of the competition.

12. Prizes are not transferable and no cash or credit alternative is available.

13. University of the West of England's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. Your personal details are required to operate the Competition and to notify you if you win the Competition. Please see our Privacy Statement for more information on how we use your personal data.

15. By submitting an entry all entrants agree to accept these terms and conditions and agree that University of the West of England may publicise the idea submitted and incorporate it in any publications or publicity relating to University of the West of England's activities.
